It was another Kalitta mosh pit at Sunday’s Gatornationals finals.
After Alexis DeJoria won in the Funny Car category in Phoenix, the Kalitta Motorsports Team brought home their second Wally in two races, this time with a Top Fuel win by Doug Kalitta. The teams of Kalitta, DeJoria, & David Grubnic cheered and tackled each other at the start line when defending event winner Antron Brown smoked the tires and Kalitta took the win with a 3.83 second pass at 323.87 miles per hour.

Enders-Stevens sets Pro Stock national record speed
Erica Enders-Stevens set the national top speed record for Pro Stock on Friday with a 214.69 mile per hour run. She made the record-setting run in her first qualifying attempt lined up against Jeg Coughlin. With the run, Enders-Stevens also knocks off Mike Edwards as the track record holder at Auto Plus Raceway. Enders-Stevens previously held the track record in 2011.

Don Schumacher Racing clinched its 200th win Sunday at Gatornationals with a pair of victories from Johnny Gray and Antron Brown in Funny Car & Top Fuel respectively at Gatornationals on Sunday
