Number 1 Florida Baseball Falls To Unranked North Florida

The top ranked Gatosr baseball team is now 24-5 on the season after losing on the road to the University of North Florida 10-5 on Tuesday night. The Ospreys improve to 18-13 on the season.

On an eight game road trip, the Orange and Blue have dropped four of the eight contests but Gators head coach Kevin O’Sullivan says the loss in Jacksonville was the worst.

Baylor, Stanford Women Headed To Final Four

The Baylor Bears and the Stanford Cardinal have secured their spots in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four in Denver.

In the Des Moines Regional, overall number one seed Baylor defeated NCAA hoops’ winningest coach, Pat Summit, and her number two seed Tennessee team on Monday night. The Bears won 77-58, but it was not without a late game clash between Baylor’s Odyssey Sims and Tennesee’s Shekinna Stricklen. What’s Next for Tim Tebow?

After a standout year with the Denver Broncos, the future remains uncertain for former Gators quarterback Tim Tebow. The Jacksonville native resurrected Broncos football in 2011 with comeback fourth quarter wins and his faith-based approach to football, but he lost his starting position after his team signed free agent Peyton Manning to a five year $96 million contract on Tuesday. Though Tebow’s accolades include leading Denver to their first playoff appearance since 2005, Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway says he could not say no to the man with a Super Bowl ring and four NFL MVP awards.

No. 5 Gator Lacrosse Hosts No. 10 Dartmouth Tonight

Florida Lacrosse is headed into a tough matchup with a talented Dartmouth team tonight at Donald R. Dizney Stadium. It is the first time in program history the Gators will face the Big Green who are undefeated in their five games so far this season.

Dartmouth’s last win came as a double overtime upset over third ranked Duke on Saturday. But the 8-2 Gators are coming off success as well, bringing a four game win streak to the table.
