NASCAR’s David Reutimann now has a ride for next weekend’s Daytona 500 with BK Racing. A deal between Tommy Baldwin Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing had previously arranged for Danica Patrick and David Reutimann to share the #10 car for the season, with Patrick taking 10 big races including the Daytona 500.
Reutimann will still race the other 26 races of the season for the TBR/SHR #10 alliance, but for the 500, he will compete against Patrick as he drives the #93 Toyota for the team who took over the remnants of the disbanded Red Bull Racing team.

Schedule conflicts. That tragic moment when you look at your calendar and realize two very enticing events land on the same day. NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Danica Patrick had a moment like this when she flipped her calendar to May 27, 2012: Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Indy 500 versus Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Coke 600.
Today, Patrick announced she chose NASCAR.
“After a lot of conversations, it’s just going to be the Coke 600.
