Interview with NASCAR’s Trevor Bayne

Going into the weekend at Texas, Trevor Bayne was holding his own at 4th in the Nationwide Series point standings. But even with the high ranking and three Top 10 finishes in Nationwide so far this year, the #60 Roush Fenway Racing team was unable to secure funding for Texas. What’s next for Bayne and his team?

Roush Fenway takes two, Rockingham returns

After the first off-week of the season over Easter, NASCAR was back on track this weekend. Texas Motor Speedway hosted its first Nationwide and Sprint Cup races of the season, while the Camping World Trucks were at Rockingham Speedway for the first time in eight years.

In Nationwide on Friday, it was Roush Fenway’s Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. who took the checkered flag. The victory was his second of the season after winning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March.

Life Lessons From Gator Softball

With 12 NCAA Tournament appearances and two appearances in the Women’s College World Series Final, the top ranked University of Florida softball program has seen a great deal of success since its inaugural season. However, the players and coaches who make up the program insist the team is more than just their achievements on the field. Head Coach Tim Walton says although he loves the competitive nature of the sport, his joy is in building better players – and better people.

Number 1 Florida Baseball Falls To Unranked North Florida

The top ranked Gatosr baseball team is now 24-5 on the season after losing on the road to the University of North Florida 10-5 on Tuesday night. The Ospreys improve to 18-13 on the season.

On an eight game road trip, the Orange and Blue have dropped four of the eight contests but Gators head coach Kevin O’Sullivan says the loss in Jacksonville was the worst.
